Sun spot treatment is a common problem for a lot of the patients in Boulder. Dr. Becker and our licensed aestheticians are well practiced in removing sun spots with an Alexandrite Laser. The Alexandrite laser, or 755, is perfect for spot treatments of brown pigmentation. It can also be used to treat pigment in large areas of the face, chest, back, arms, legs and hands.
Why an Alexandrite Laser?
The 755 wavelength of the Alexandrite laser is precisely targeted to remove areas of brown pigment. It is a great option for targeting stubborn pigment that does not lighten with BBL treatments. It is also very effective for treating sun damage on the arms and hands, as well as the face.

What to Expect
Our highly skilled team will meet with you to discuss your specific areas of concern, and create a custom treatment plan for you. On the day of your treatment, we will begin by taking photos to document your progress.
Treatments are quick, generally less than 30 minutes. The laser delivers pulses of energy that feel like a snap from a hot rubber band. Immediately following, your skin may feel warm and flushed, and any brown spots will appear darker. The dark spots that appear immediately following your treatment will continue to become darker and slough off after about 7 days. You should keep out of the sun for at least two weeks, and should wear a sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher at all times for the following two weeks.
